Christopher Jackson and Jane Krakowski Will Announce Tony Award Nominations


With the spring 2017 season well underway on Broadway, plans are already in the works for the 2017 Tony Awards ceremony and events leading up to Broadway’s biggest night.

The 2017 Tony Award nominations will be announced May 2nd, 2017 at 8:30 AM LIVE from the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. The American Theatre Wing and Broadway League have announced that Tony Award nominee Christopher Jackson and Tony Award winner Jane Krakowski will kick off this year’s festivities by announcing this year’s nominations. Both Jackson and Krakowski were seen on Broadway last season with Krakowski in She Loves Me and Jackson in mega-hit Hamilton. The 71st annual Tony Awards are scheduled to be presented June 11th, 2017 LIVE from Radio City Music Hall. A host has not yet been announced for this year’s ceremony.
