BACKSTAGE_TonysAs for the location, there has been much speculation as to where The 2016 Tony Awards will take place following an announcement from Radio City Music Hall that the Rockettes New York Spectacular will return to Radio City in 2016. However, instead of the spring, the production is slated for a 2016 summer run beginning just a week after the current Tony Awards ceremony date. This means that Radio City would be in the midst of a final tech week on the days the Tony Awards would need the space. Negotiations are reportedly ongoing and an announcement regarding the home for the ceremony will hopefully come sooner rather than later.
