Carousel at Chicago’s Lyric Opera

One of the greatest musicals ever written for the stage has come to life in Chicago in a new staging led by Broadway talent on the stage and off as well! Carousel, the musical masterpiece of Rodgers & Hammerstein, tells the story of love and redemption through the lives Billy Bigelow and Julie Jordan. Led by Steve Pasquale, who won over Broadway last season in The Bridges Of Madison County, and fan favorite Laura Osnes, Carousel at Chicago’s Lyric Opera is looking better than ever. Carousel at Chicago’s Lyric Opera is now in performances through May 3rd! The production is directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Rob Ashford. While there are speculations whether or not the show will move to Broadway following its Chicago run, currently it is only scheduled to play Chicago for the next several weeks.
