Brandy on Broadway? We love it! While Luner on Theatre is a firm believer that you don’t need to have star power to be a hit, Chicago the musical runs off of star powered names bringing in tourists and locals to their show. Don’t get us wrong, we aren’t downing the fact that Chicago is a stellar production! We love all that jazz! What we are saying is, this is one of the main Broadway productions to consistently switch in star power to continue to bring in a new audience for the production week after week. Brandy will be an excellent addition to the show and definitely has the chops to do so. She performed in the TV version of Cinderella and won over many with her musical talents. That is, musical talents outside of the 40 million albums she has sold worldwide! We are looking forward to welcoming Brandy to Broadway and hope to see her during this limited engagement!
