Holler If You Hear Me In Rehearsal (Photos)
The first production of the new 2014-2015 season is just weeks away from it’s very first performance on Broadway and setting the tone much differently than years past. While the first show of the new season is indeed a musical, it’s a musical unlike anything Broadway has ever seen before. Holler If You Hear Me, the new Tupac inspired musical written by Todd Kreidler, tells the story of friends and family in the inner city struggling for peace among their daily lives. Using Tupac’s music and lyrics, the musical explores hope and change among the group in the 20th century. Today, Luner on Theatre brings you a look at the brand new Tupac inspired musical Holler If You Hear Me!
Holler If You Hear Me is set to begin previews on Broadway June 2nd, 2014! This will make the show the very first production of the 2014-2015 Broadway season. The show will officially open on June 19th at the Palace Theatre located in the heart of Times Square. The musical is directed by Kenny Leon and choreographed by Tony Award winner Wayne Cilento.
