Wagner College Theatre Advisory Board Presents Places I Love: A BCEFA Benefit

originalSnow days and the blustery winter has not stopped students at Staten Island’s Wagner College from putting together a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The Theatre Advisory Board, which communicates to the nationally recognized theatre department for its students on campus, is producing the one night only event set for tomorrow night! Today, Luner on Theatre brings you the exciting news that Wagner College’s Theatre Advisory Board will proudly present Places I Love: A Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Benefit!

424945_237998099615049_11387317_nWagner College’s Theatre Advisory Board is proud to present Places I Love: A Broadway/Equity Fights AIDS Benefit on Saturday February 22nd, 2014 . The show will begin at 8:30 PM and will play the college’s black box studio theatre, Stage One (Pictured Right). The night will be filled with music about places people love to be. The music will have a wide variety ranging from show tunes from  The Book of Mormon on Broadway to hits from Sara Bareilles. There will also be raffle prizes and a silent auction filled with Broadway merchandise to help raise funds. Wagner College’s Theatre Advisory Board produces multiple BCEFA benefits each school year and this is their first of the Spring 2014 semester.

Performers for the evening will include Lauren Wagner, Kelly Hubbell, Greg Martins, Ailsa Hoke, KT Sanders, Molly Brown, Timmy McMillan, Dana Gough, Mike Kain, Darnell Kenney, Alec Reiss, Nick Barakos, Daniel Marconi, Mari Skoultchi, Carolyn Savoia, Clint Thompson, Courtney Kenyon, Jasmine Canziani, Bridget Berry, Rachel Nace, Ryan McConville and Taia Samuel. Steve Agro will provide musical accompaniment.

Come out and support an amazing cause while also enjoying a night of fantastic talent. Wagner College’s Theatre Advisory Board presents Places I Love: A BCEFA Benefit for one night only!
