Luner on Theatre could not be more excited for a stage adaptation of Shakespeare In Love. This movie is one of our favorites about the creation of the greatest love story ever told. The original idea behind the story telling told in this film is just absolutely stunning. What a brilliant idea. Many movies aim for the stage and miss in the process. However, this is one we can see working quite well. The movie was so well structured and incorporated so many theatrical elements into already, it is almost another show within a show type production. However, it is interesting that this one is about the one man who changed theatre forever. A stage adaptation is definitely going to be interesting to see and could even lead to some fun with legit Shakespeare productions down the road. Shakespeare In Love and Romeo and Juliet in rep anyone? Love it! I look forward to this new production hitting the stage in London.
