Witness Uganda Makes World Premiere at A.R.T. (Photos)

Can one person change the world? When a young man named Griffin heads to Uganda for a volunteer project, he is exposed to the harsh reality of AIDS. In a journey that will change his life forever, Griffin experiences the difficulties American AIDS workers do around the world every single day. He finds himself questioning our efforts to change the world and wonders if we really can despite all our effort to. Based off of a real life story, Witness Uganda is a brand new musical created by Matt Gould and Griffin MatthewsToday, Luner on Theatre brings you a first look at the world premiere of the brand new musical at The American Repertory Theatre, Witness Uganda!

Witness Uganda began performances at A.R.T. on February 4th, 2014 and is scheduled to run through March 16th, 2014 at the Loeb Drama Center. The production is directed  by Tony Award winner and A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus.
