Bring It On: The Musical Hits The Road Again

It’s All Happening! Again! Long before Bring It On: The Musical came to Broadway, the production set out and began the way many musicals did in the old days by starting off with a national tour around the country. Since that time, Bring It On has played Broadway’s iconic St. James Theatre and was even nominated for two Tony Awards including the Tony Award for Best Musical. The story follows Campbell as she is welcomed to Jackson High and the extreme sport of cheerleading. Following the themes of friendship, betrayal and jealousy, Bring It On is filled with stunts, fresh choreography and a new generation of music for Broadway audiences and theatre goers. Today, Luner on Theatre brings you a first look at the new national tour of Bring It On: The Musical!

Bring It On: The Musical features an original story by Tony Award winner Jeff Whitty, music and lyrics by Tony Award-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, music by Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning composer Tom Kitt, lyrics by Broadway lyricist Amanda Green and music supervision by Tony and Grammy Award winner Alex Lacamoire.  The production is directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler. Bring It On is set to make appearances in cities such as Baton Rouge, Salt Lake City, El Paso, Sarasota, Detroit as well as many more and end with final performances in Tokyo, Japan! For more information, visit Bring It On: The Musical’s Official Touring Website. Be sure to check Luner on Theatre on Facebook and Follow Us on Twitter as well!
