First Look at the set for Bullets Over Broadway

Don’t speak! The hilarious Woody Allen comedy Bullets Over Broadway is coming to Broadway in a brand new stage production set to dazzle audiences! The Academy Award nominated film tells the story of a young playwright who receives his first big break on Broadway with his show God of our Fathers. The only catch? The gangster who put up the money for the production must have his girlfriend in the show in a leading role. Things get weird when her escort begins suggesting rewrites for the playwright which only help make his piece even better. As opening night approaches, his life spins out of control as he tries to play the rewrites off as his own work, engages in an affair with his leading lady and continues an ongoing affair with his producers girlfriend. Today, Luner on Theatre brings you a first look at the scenic design for the new upcoming Broadway musical Bullets Over Broadway!

The scenic design for Bullets Over Broadway is designed by Santo Loquasto. Bullets over Broadway is set to begin previews March 11th, 2014 and officially open on April 10th at The St. James Theatre on 44th street. This musical promises to be one of the larger than life production’s hitting Broadway this season!
