Now And Forever; Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Photos)

Before Carole King become the iconic music artist she is now, King was nothing more than a girl from Brooklyn with a passion for music. She worked her way through the record business to become a known name creating top quality music for some of the biggest names in the industry. However, while King’s career was bursting through the roof, her personal life was soaring to rock bottom. Plagued with many issues including her husband, King managed to find her true voice through this struggle. And that voice, was beautiful. Carole King become one of the greatest known names to the music industry and created a soundtrack of music that now defines a generation. Academy Award nominee Douglas McGrath writes a book the iconic King music to create a brand new Broadway musical about a story everyone wants to hear. Today, Luner on Theatre brings you a first look at the new Broadway musical Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.







Beautiful: The Carole King Musical played an out-of-town run at San Francisco’s Curran Theatre earlier this fall playing September 24th to October 20th to sold out houses. The production officially began its Broadway run on November 21st at The Stephen Sondheim Theatre. The production will officially open there January 12th, 2014.
