If Music Be The Food of Love, Play On; Twelfth Night on Broadway (Photos)

Shakespeare has taken over Broadway. While William Shakespeare’s work is no stranger to the New York stage, 4 production’s have made their way to New York this season dominating the Great White Way bringing to life more of this actor’s work then there has been in the last 40 years. Classics such as Macbeth and Romeo & Juliet have returned to the stage but two other works have returned playing rep in what some people are calling a life changing theatrical event. Direct from a sold out run in London, the Shakespeare Globe’s production of Twelfth Night and Richard III have come to Broadway. Today, Luner on Theatre brings you a first look at the second of the two Shakespeare pieces running in rep this season; Twelfth Night.

Don’t miss Tony Award winner Mark Rylance as Olivia in the hilarious comedy Twelfth Night. This classic tale is filled with the story of two lovers and series of unfortunate events that follow when one of their original plans for love isn’t followed exactly. Due to rep schedule being played, please check for exact dates and times as to when Twelfth Night will be presented.
