Broadway Shows Support After Newtown Shooting

On Friday December 14th, 2012, a horrible shooting at an elementary school in Newton, Connecticut rocked the nation as a gunman killed 26 people. Adding even more pain to the tragedy was the news that 20 of the 26 killed were children who were either six or seven years old. As the nation and world reaches out to Newton, Connecticut to let them known of their endless support, so does the theatre community. Two Broadway shows dedicated their Saturday Intermission Pictures to the victims of this horrible tragedy and many more offered support through social networking sites. Here are just a few examples:

No one should have to deal with the pain you are currently undergoing. We feel confident in saying that not only do you have the support of the theatre community, but many communities. The nation and world have your backs.
