Broadway in Bryant Park Kicks Off for Summer 2012

You don’t have to pay big bucks to find yourself enjoying Broadway in New York City this summer. And while you might enjoy being in the air conditioned theatres of the Great White Way more, Broadway is bringing you free outdoor entertainment once again in New York City. One of the best aspects of Summer in New York City has returned! Today, Luner on Theatre is bringing you everything you need to know about Broadway in Bryant Park for Summer 2012!

Broadway in Bryant Park is a concert series brought to you each year by 106.7 Lite FM. The concert series features your favorite Broadway and Off-Broadway productions performing numbers from their show. The series, which kicked off this past week on July 12th, runs every thursday at 12:30 PM through August 16th. The concert takes place on the Bryant Park lawn on 6th Avenue between 40th and 42nd street. Kicking off the season this past week was Stomp, The PHantom of the Opera, Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark, The Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess and War Horse.
