Upper Darby Summer Stage Announces Cast List for Hairspray

You Can’t Stop the Beat! Yes ladies and gentlemen, Luner on Theatre is back to covering the fantastic Upper Darby Summer Stage for another summer season! The Mainstage production for their 37th year is the hit Broadway musical, Hairspray! Auditions were held June 11th and after a round of callbacks, the list has been posted! Filled with performers from around the Philadelphia area ranging in ages 18 to 28, Upper Darby Summer Stage’s Hairspray will surely be a highlight of their summer season which is filled by 6 Childrens Theatre performances, 1 Mainstage show and 1 showcase which involves a dance troupe and cabaret production as well as a night of one acts.

Hairspray will hit the stage August 3rd, 4th, 10th and 11th at 7:30 PM as well as a performance August 11th at 1:30 PM. All performances will take place at the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center.
