Luner on Theatre Celebrates 1 Year on the Web!

Happy Birthday to Us!! Well over a year ago, Chris Luner began working on the idea of a theatre forum where he could report on theatre news accurately but also share his opinion and love for certain  aspects of the theatre world he dealt with. Well, one year ago today, Luner on Theatre was officially launched onto the web and we couldn’t be happier to be celebrating one year and looking forward to the many years to come!

Did you know Luner on Theatre has a mission statement? Check It Out below:

“Luner on Theatre was a blog created for the sole purpose of being a forum for theatre talk on the internet and social networking sites. On this blog, you can find many different things that relate to theatre. This blog is mostly for the purpose of keeping people updated on the latest theatre news, the posting of reviews of shows attended and a forum for people to discuss, evaluate and enjoy theatre as a whole.”

We’d like to think in the year we have been around, we have honored our mission pretty well! We have reported theatre news you need and want to know, created discussion on topics people haven’t touched upon, made a few arguments for things we had a certain opinion on and of course made sure to do it in a timely fashion that provided you with a great theatre experience. We only hope we can further this in a new year here for Luner on Theatre.

The most important thing to say about everything relating to this blog is Thank you! Thank you to everyone who reads the blog, subscribes via email or even just supports the idea of me doing this. Honestly, without the support, readers and people consistently viewing what we publish for you all to read, none of this would be possible. Because of you all, in its first year on the web Luner on Theatre received a grand total of 44,304 views! Thank you SO much!

Also, because of everyones consist support we have been able to expand the blog in fashions we never even had before thought of! We created Luner Rumors and started some buzz on the internet, joined the airwaves as Luner on Theatre LIVE now airs weekly at Wagner College on WCBG and even still we have now jumped across the Atlantic Ocean with a correspondent for West End Theatre in London Lookout! So many exciting things have happened alone in this first year and while we do plan, execute and keep up with everything we produce, it is because of the support of everyone that the continued success of Luner on Theatre grows daily!

And of course, with a new year coming up we have so many new plans already in the works! However, us being Luner on Theatre we won’t be sharing those things with you just yet but they are something to watch out for! We are finalizing major new projects now and we only hope that you enjoy them and stay on board when they are launched! You can expect to see a lot more of our own visuals as well as a lot more hands on projects. We’ll be sure to keep you in the loop as these projects develop and more details become known to us!

So Thank you so much to everyone who has been around for Luner on Theatre’s first year on the web! We are only hoping this is the first year of so many more to come! We ask that if you like this blog, spread the word to people! Like us on Facebook or Follow Us on Twitter!
